Kelsey holds her degree in music education from Ball State University and has taught in Indianapolis, the Navajo Nation, and Chicago before pivoting the private teaching. Kelsey excels at mentoring tweens and teens and helping with musical college and career prep, and runs an online studio of adult piano players and songwriters.

Anthony Rideout
Double Bass-Guitar-Strings

Anthony has his masters in Double Bass Performance and has played with a variety of orchestras, ranging from the Chicago Philharmonic to the Evansville Philharmonic. He has led adult jazz ensembles and bass-fiddle classes, but knows his way around the guitar and can teach anyone to play- and enjoy- their stringed instrument.

    The key to learning any instrument is to get comfortable finding the notes and moving around easily. Get to know the notes on the piano, or learn Anthony’s renowned stacking technique on any string instrument and use these skills to play songs in your favorite style.

    Music is for all ages. Both Kelsey & Anthony have taught a wide range of ages, and enjoy teaching beginner students and experienced adults. We invite you to sign up for your first lesson at any stage of life.
