  • Kelsey grew up in Evansville, Indiana, and Anthony is from Rochester, New York! We met in 2015, and lived in Chicago together until 2020 when we found a home near a family farm in New Harmony, Indiana.

  • We came down to Posey County when the big cities were all shut down in 2020. We meant to go back to Chicago, but fell completely in love with the slow pace of life and the chance to have space and spend time outside in nature again. We’ve continued to perform both in Chicago and in Southern Indiana since, and run private lesson studios online teaching students all over the U.S.!

  • Kelsey specializes in teaching teens and adults dynamic piano playing and creative songwriting and composition. She has her degree in Music Education from Ball State and Graduate Credit from Indiana University’s Global Gateway program. She’s taught all ages from pre-K through adults in Indianapolis, on the Navajo Nation, and on the south side of Chicago before moving to teaching private lessons through Old Town School of Folk Music in Chicago and eventually opening her own online private studio based right here in New Harmony, Indiana.

Anthony is an expert in all things groove, and teaches private lessons for guitar, bass, and almost anything with strings. He’s gotta catch em all, and has degrees in Double Bass Performance from University of Buffalo, Cincinatti Conservatory of Music, and Roosevelt Univesity, as well as having directed the Jazz Ensemble at South Suburban College and teaching bass-fiddle styles at Alasdair Fraser’s Sierra Fiddle Camp.

Community Rooted Education

We see a gap we’d love to fill, which is creating a hub for people to learn and make music together. For now, we’re teaching private lessons in homes and gathering in community spaces. Our goal is that by 2025, we’ll have a physical space in town to make music together as well as a scholarship fund to make it easy for residents to continue to learn and grow through music.

Music Makes Everything Better

Music takes every party to the next level. We want to elevate your weddings, parties, and private events with live music. We’ve grown our business to not only help arrange the live music you want to hear on your special day, but to make it easy to rent the sound and lights that you need- because planning a party is already hard enough.

Once your deposit has secured the date, we’ll take care of the rest. Your music will be ready and you won’t have to follow up about a thing.

It Takes a Village

Everything we’ve ever tried to do on our own ended up involving community, and being better for it. That’s why we’re building a studio that involves the town, one where we help each other grow. From seasonal shows and workshops, to New Harmony’s first porch fest (coming soon!), we’re growing together.
